The Corner Gallery at Playhouse Square in Cleveland has been home to Mummies of the World: The Exhibition for awhile now, and I needed to see it!
I could have had many lives, archaeology, geology, anthropology, etc… Forensic Anthropology (like the TV show Bones) is also on that list (along with Egypt in particular), so I made sure everyone had the same weekend off so we could go see them!
They had a variety of mummies there, even a more modern day experimentation with mummification, a cat found in an attic, and lots of burial accessories.
They had a QR code to scan for an audio tour, but everything was well labeled and there were posters of additional information. It wasn’t a large exhibit, so it was easy enough to get through in about an hour.
Everything was well displayed and it was a great homeschool history/geography lesson! A little pricey for the limited size, but if you have any interest, it’s worth it!
