I’m a mom of 4 amazing girls, ranging from ages 11-17, that I homeschool. I have chickens, cats, and dogs. I’ve dabbled with beekeeping and harvesting maple syrup as a wannabe homesteader. I work part time retail at a hardware store. I am an art model for the local college and art center. One day I may actually finish a story and publish a book. I love geology, archaeology, anthropology, and astronomy. 80’s rock is the best. I live in a 1937 colonial style farmhouse that will be in a state of renovation for the rest of my life. Dinosaurs are awesome! Mushrooms, Steampunk, Victorian Goth, and Nature/Rocks/Bones round out my decor tastes. I am incredibly talented at killing plants. I spent a number of years in the retail automotive parts industry. I spent a summer at a local airplane hanger watching my husband help his brother build an airplane (I participated on occasion). I’ve been a Girl Scout leader for over 10 years. I’m a board member for a local nonprofit theater. I attempt at keeping a budget planner as we work our way through debt payoff, medicals bills, braces, teenagers, and home renovations. I have a number of medical issues (I once had surgery 5 times in 4 years), including Idiopathic Hypersomnia, Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and ADHD, so I always hurt and I’m always tired, but I’m taking life a day at a time trying to make the best of it.
