In the Fall of 2020, we decided to start a kitchen renovation. The pandemic had everyone doing house projects, and we were no different (considering we bought a fixer upper, a state of construction is normal around here).
We ripped out cabinets and walls, insulated, purchased new cabinets that we needed to stain and seal, and started assembling. Then our oldest ended up in the children’s hospital for a week with a burst appendix. The kitchen took a backseat then.
We finally started to put hardware on the cabinet doors and drawers this month!

We also stained some wood to create a wall of shelves to help organize the kitchen better. A place for larger counter appliances and other miscellaneous things we don’t have a home for since we still have some cabinets to install.

We still have a lot of work to do, but slowly we are getting there!
